Scale-Free Fractal Interpolation

چکیده
An iterated function system that defines a fractal interpolation function, where ordinate scaling is replaced by nonlinear contraction, investigated here. In such manner, functions associated with Matkowski contractions for finite as well infinite (countable) sets of data are obtained. Furthermore, we construct an extension the concept ?-fractal functions, herein called R-fractal related to countable and provide approximation properties functions. Moreover, obtain smooth results ensure existence differentiable both cases.

Fractal Interpolation Functions on the Stability of Vertical Scale Factor
Abstract: Fractal interpolation is a new interpolation method, the corresponding vertical scale factor determines the shape of fractal interpolation functions and features. Therefore, choosing the appropriate vertical scale factor, can fit the real rough curve precisely. This paper primarily studies the change of the fractal interpolation curve when giving a small perturbation on vertical scale...

Degree of a node Number of edges incident to the node. Scale-Free Network Network that exhibits a wide (usually power-law) distribution of the degrees. Small-World Network Network for which the diameter increases logarithmically with the number of nodes. Distance The length (measured in number of links) of the shortest path between two nodes. Box Group of nodes. In a connected box there exists ...
متن کاملScale-free networks embedded in fractal space
The impact of an inhomogeneous arrangement of nodes in space on a network organization cannot be neglected in most real-world scale-free networks. Here we propose a model for a geographical network with nodes embedded in a fractal space in which we can tune the network heterogeneity by varying the strength of the spatial embedding. When the nodes in such networks have power-law distributed intr...
متن کاملFractal and transfractal recursive scale-free nets
We explore the concepts of self-similarity, dimensionality, and (multi)scaling in a new family of recursive scale-free nets that yield themselves to exact analysis through renormalization techniques. All nets in this family are self-similar and some are fractals—possessing a finite fractal dimension—while others are small-world (their diameter grows logarithmically with their size) and are infi...
متن کاملLinear Fractal Shape Interpolation
Interpolation of two-dimensional shapes described by iterated function systems is explored. Iterated function systems define shapes using self-transformations, and interpolation of these shapes requires interpolation of these transformations. Polar decomposition is used to avoid singular intermediate transformations and to better simulate articulated motion. Unlike some other representations, s...
